DOG owners entered their furry companions in a show to help Musgrove Park Hospital get a third MRI scanner.

The companion dog show was held at Oake and District Hall and 50 dogs from all over Somerset and Devon took part.

The event, which raised £443, was organised by the Taunton town centre Sainsbury’s supermarket, which has named Love Musgrove as its official charity partner for 2018.

Liz Ladd, clinical service manager for Musgrove’s medical imaging department, said: “We are very grateful to Sainsbury’s for putting on this show. We’re on track to raise enough money for a third MRI scanner at the hospital but we still need that extra push and events like this go a long way to helping us achieve the target.”
