ELVIS is returning to Wellington next month – and it’s all for a worthy cause.
Ken and Jeanette Bird are planning their third charity dance at the football club, again featuring Stuart Horne’s Elvis Presley tribute.
They staged the first one in 2023 as a thank-you after Ken underwent two major operations for cancer and have so far raised nearly £3,000 for worthy causes.
Proceeds from this year’s event - set to take place on Saturday, June 14 from 8pm - will go to St Margaret’s Hospice.
