A 48-HOUR filmmaking challenge is returning this August as part of the Wellington Film Festival 2025.
The challenge, which will take place from Friday, August 22, until Sunday, August 24, invites budding filmmakers, creative teams, and young storytellers to create a short film in just 48 hours.
Participants will be given a line of dialogue and a prop, and have the option of shooting their film on on a smartphone, tablet, or DSLR, with the aim of telling a story in under three minutes.
Films must be submitted by 6pm on Sunday, August 24. All completed films will be entered into a range of awards.
