MUSICIAN and composer Jon Maybey is set to release a new album this August.
The Wellington based artist has “captured the spirit of Celtic folk-rock” in his new 11-track album Time Will Tell, which can be streamed from August 1.
Jon said: “I wanted to work with a band in a studio rather than on a stage and I’m very happy with the outcome.
“It has a very human feel which is refreshing, given all the electronic music that is dominating the landscape.”
Time Will Tell is a departure from Jon’s multi-genre live-looping solo music act. Alongside electric and acoustic guitars, the eleven, mostly instrumental, tracks also feature the mandolin and flute, as well as vocals from Rosie Eade.
