THE life of murdered Labour MP Jo Cox will be celebrated in a table top sale and coffee morning at the United Reformed Church in Wellington on Saturday (June 23).

Two years after her death people all over Britain people are staging events to highlight what she believed in.

The event in Wellington, from 10am-12.30pm, will include home-made cakes, tombola and raffle. All proceeds will go to Taunton Homeless and the Macmillan Fund.

It is hoped to create an atmosphere of friendship and well-being – everyone will be made very welcome and visitors are invited, if they can, to take a friend who would possibly not go out alone.
