Wellington Museum’s local history collection contains more than 5,000 items and some of them will be the subject of a talk tomorrow (Thursday) when five people will speak about an artefact from the museum that interests or intrigues them.

Other items not usually on display in the museum will also be on show. The event is in Wellington Prep School Hall, South Street, at 7.30pm. This talk replaces at short notice one previously advertised on Wellington’s Heritage at Risk, which it is hoped will take place early next year.

The talk is organised by Wellington Local History & Museum Society – entry is £3 or £2 for society members.
