This year’s Wellington spring and summer flower shows could not take place because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Instead of this year’s summer show, which would have been the 86th, the flower show committee invited the town’s green-fingered community to take part in a ‘virtual’ show.

Entrants had to send in a photo of what they may have entered, whether that was fruit, vegetables, flowers, pot plants, cakes, jams, pictures or anything else.

Entries in the ‘virtual’ show, held just for fun as no prizes were on offer, are featured here.
