MULTI award-winning folk musicians Chris While and Julie Mathews are playing at Milverton Music Club’s next event.

The singer-songwriters have gathered numerous nominations, awards  and critical acclaim, and have been celebrating 25 years as a duo this year with a new album and an extensive autumn tour of the UK.

Last year saw them perform music from The Ballads of Child Migration at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards alongside O’Hooley and Tidow, Boo Hewerdine, John McCusker, Kris Drever, John Doyle, Mike McGoldrick and Andy Seward.

Chris and Julie have ten studio albums, two live albums and two best-ofs. They also have a songbook as well as six solo albums and the new album Revolution Calls has just been released.

Chris While and Julie Mathews are at the Victoria Rooms, Fore Street, on Friday, October 18. Doors open 7.30pm and a bar is available.
