New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to seven restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Coffee#1 at 53 High Street, Wells; rated on February 22

• Rated 5: Tool and Gauge Cafe Ltd at Unit G7, Frome Business Park, Manor Road, Frome; rated on February 5

• Rated 5: The Courtyard Restaurant (Wells) at 9 Heritage Courtyard, Sadler Street, Wells; rated on January 25

• Rated 5: Subway at Unit 4, Haskins Retail Park, Townsend, Shepton Mallet; rated on January 24

• Rated 5: Good Earth Natural Foods Ltd at 4-6 Priory Road, Wells; rated on January 15

• Rated 4: Cozzy Coffee at 11 Cross Street, Burnham-On-Sea, Somerset; rated on January 23

• Rated 4: Garden Cafe at 16 Stony Street, Frome; rated on January 9

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
