FOSTER carers in the Wellington area are needed for unaccompanied young people who have fled war-ravaged countries such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Care provider Foster Care Associates (FCA) is urging people with a spare room to contact it as local authorities are reportedly struggling to find places for such children.
