THE first of the new series of films at Clayhidon Parish Hall is ‘I,Daniel Blake’, a heart-rending tale of the humiliations inflicted by the benefits bureaucracy on two people down on their luck.

The film, directed by Ken Loach, is being screened on Friday (January 13) at 7.30pm. Ice cream and a licensed bar will be on offer.
