BLACK Pudding, a tame crow which had become a familiar sight at the One Stop store at Tonedale, Wellington, has been ‘stolen’ from the woman who looked after him for eight months.
Sunny Richards, of nearby Wardleworth Court, said two men had been seen putting the crow in a cage in the shop car park before driving off.
Sunny, who is appealing for information about Black Pudding’s whereabouts, rescued him as a youngster and he had been sleeping overnight in a cage in her 12-year-old daughter’s bedroom since. Sunny said: “Shalla is devastated – she’s terrified she’s never going to see him again.”
