THE sun shone and revellers turned out for Wellington Carnival Committee’s first ever Autumn Music Festival held near West Buckland on Saturday featuring The Wurzels.

Baccy Street from Plymouth, The Barry Walsh Band from Bristol along with local soloist Hugo Montgomery-Swan and Wellington band FILTA provided support.

More than 850 people from as far afield as Portsmouth, Yorkshire, London and Plymouth were treated to an afternoon and evening of live West Country music, locally produced cider and Real Ale, along with locally produced food, in a field surrounded by apple orchards on land Sheppy’s Cider owns.
