THE annual Milverton Street Fair is being staged on Bank Holiday Monday (May 6).

As usual the Victoria Rooms will be open from 10am on the day, with lots of stalls in the main hall, while the cafe will be serving savouries, cakes and drinks all day.

More than 100 stalls will be packed into the village’s narrow roads and gardens ranging from arts and crafts to art, toys, furniture and antiques to jewellery, plants and cream teas.

There will be street acts and live music, Punch and Judy, face painting, Morris dancing, stilt walkers and much more. A hat and a flag competition will be held.
