STALLS, raffle, coffee, tea and cake are on offer when Judith Short holds a charity fundraising event at Wellington Cricket Club in Courtland Road today (Thursday) and Friday from 10am-4pm.

Everyone is welcome at the event, proceeds from which will go to the Vine Trust and Meningitis Now – two charities Judith has a personal collection with.

Her ex-colleague Dr Vicky Robins was a volunteer for the Vine Trust in 2014 and she has asked for funds to be raised for it.

Judith is backing the meningitis charity as 20 years ago this month a friend lost her daughter to the disease.
