A memorial Christmas tree has taken centre stage at a Wellington funeral home.

Co-op Funeralcare in Three Cups Yard, Bulford, has provided the tree to help people remember loved ones during the festive season.

Families and friends are invited to visit the funeral home and decorate the tree with cards in memory of those close to them who have died. Light Up a Life star badges to benefit St Margaret’s Hospice are available for a small donation.

Jacki Penny at Wellington Funeralcare said: “We know that Christmas and New Year is a time when people look back and remember those they’ve lost and we hope our memorial Christmas tree will benefit the families concerned at this difficult time.”

Wellington Funeralcare is open from 10-4pm Monday to Friday. Visitors will be able to leave memorial cards on the tree until December 23.
