COURT Fields Community Pre-School has been celebrating the completion of work in its garden at a special event.

Wellington Mayor Gary James and his wife Bee, local councillors, Co-op manager Mark Jones and his wife, school teachers, previous managers, volunteers, committee members and parents old and new attended.

The event was also a thank-you to the local community for its support and donations. Wellington Co-op, the Green Dragon, Waitrose, Travis Perkins, Wellington Transition Town and parents provided the funds to cover the work.

The pre-school put together photos and newspaper clips on the setting’s 30-plus years which previous managers and staff enjoyed seeing.
