CHILDREN from Court Fields Community Pre-School enjoyed pond dipping with their families in the Basins stream.

The children found many forms of wildlife from swans, ducks and fish to pond skaters, pond beatles and spiders. Cake and conversation followed by the pond.

Pre-school manager Sheryl Higgs said: “We were using our local environment to educate through play. The children got very wet and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon with families in the sunshine.”
