New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Cafe Square at 7 Silver Street, Ilminster, Somerset; rated on May 4
• Rated 5: Tintinhull House & Gardens at Farm Street, Tintinhull, Yeovil Somerset; rated on April 14
• Rated 5: Base Gym Yeovil at 1a Oxford Road, Pen Mill Trading Estate, Yeovil; rated on April 12
