MEMBERS of the public are being offered defibrillator training by Wellington Town Council.

The town now has two life-saving machines, one at the Longforth Road public convenience and one at the Rockwell Green Christian Fellowship Centre.

To ensure people know how to use the machines, a free training session is being offered by the council in association with Heartclass.

The three-hour session is at the Fellowship Centre on Saturday, April 27, from 10am. The training is being offered on a first-come first-served basis and a small refundable deposit will be required.
