ALISON Cooney, director of The Mount Hair Salon in Wellington, has just returned from London Fashion Week when designers showcase their new collections for the next season.

As well as working in the salon, Alison is also a creative director for global product brand Moroccanoil, working with its team to create the latest hair fashion trends for top designers Temperly, Addnevik and Osman for London Fashion Week.

Alison said: “Once the designer has briefed us on the look required to complement the whole theme a hair test is done and approved by the designer. It’s a very hectic three days working against the clock but a great privilege to be part of the team. Later this month I travel to Ireland to do two more hair shows promoting Moroccanoil.”
