WITH the bee swarming season upon us, people in the Wellington area are being urged to report any swarms of honeybees they see to local beekeepers.

Jackie Mosedale, chairman of Somerset Beekeepers, said: "With honey bee numbers under threat we don't want to lose swarms. As long as it is safe and practicable, we're keen to collect them and give them a new home."
