PEOPLE across the Wellington and Wiveliscombe area are clearing up after high winds and rain yesterday and overnight.
Householders in Wellington suffered loss of electricity after power lines were brought down in high winds.
Places affected include Foxdown Terrace, and Champford Lane where an electricity pylon was blown over outside the Cottage Inn.
Yesterday afternoon Western Power said engineers were dealing with electricity losses in Wellington, Wrangway, Sampford Arundel, Sampford Moor, Whiteball and Burlescombe.
First bus says service 25 is operating as far as Norton Fitzwarren this morning as vehicles are unable to get to Allerford and Hillcommon.
