SAMPFORD Arundel WI members enjoyed a guided walk around parts of south Wellington on a sunny evening last week.

The party of 16, including a husband or two, learned about the history of prominent and interesting buildings in South Street, Eight Acre Lane and Wellesley Park.

There were also stories about residents of the area in years gone by, several of whom were local industrialists.
