LANDLORDS willing to rent a two- or three-bedroom house or flat to a Syrian refugee family are being sought in the Wellington area.

Once housed the families will receive ongoing help and support from the local authority and the voluntary sector.

Rent needs to be within or close to the Local Housing Allowance rate for the area – up to £630 a month for a three-bedroom house – and ideally the property should be available for at least two years. Six months’ rent is available in advance for the right property.
