A Christmas fair at St John’s Primary School, Wellington, organised by the friends committee, was a great success, raising more than £900.

Children, parents and families were entertained by lots of stalls including two raffles, tombolas, cake stall, games and a grotto visited by Santa and his elves.

The school choir performed their Christmas songs, shortly followed by a rendition of ‘12 Days of Christmas’ by the newly formed staff choir.

The school thanks everyone who helped at the fair and the local businesses which gave prizes for the raffle.
