THE opening weekend of the 10 Parishes Festival culminated in some style with a carnival procession through Wiveliscombe that produced a wide variety of entrants reflecting the theme Go Wild – Back to the Jungle!

This event is well-known for the theatrical procession that is one part of Market Day, which saw the town centre filled with crowds enjoying live music in Jubilee Gardens, along with food and craft stalls, which reported brisk trade.
