POP-INDIE rock band Last One Home, from Wellington, have just released their latest single and video.
Lifeline is an upbeat, anthemic modern rock/pop song written by frontman Tom Westlake.
The track is their first after the easing of the pandemic restrictions and was recorded over a year ago with Joe Marsh at Orchard Studios in Somerton.
It was played in a sneak preview on BBC Radio in January but was held back for its formal release to coincide with the band returning to playing live.
Recent shows have included a set at Sheppyfest a few weeks ago and headlining at a packed Glastonbury Calling last weekend.
Last One Home are keen to get back out on the road and reconnect with their fans around the South-West and beyond, and are planning another UK tour before Christmas after their last one was curtailed by lockdown.
Tom said: “We played Lifeline at Sheppyfest and the reaction and crowd vibes were phenomenal. We think it will be a firm favourite of our fans at our future shows and we hope it gains some international attention as downloads and streams pick up.”
Lifeline is accompanied by a video recorded in a day by A Life Well Productions at Factory Studios in Bristol.
It is available on all major music platforms and details of the forthcoming tour will be released in the next few weeks.
