Thea, six, had been growing her hair for four years before having it cut to provide material for a wig.
Thea, who attends Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington, has also raised £550 through a JustGiving webpage – the cost of producing a real hair wig for a child.
She had her hair cut by Marinella Warren at Casey Warren’s salon in High Street, Wellington.
