WELLINGTON man Mark Cunningham denied a string of sexual abuse charges when he appeared at Taunton Crown Court.

He entered not guilty pleas to two charges of sexually assaulting a girl aged 12, one of creating 12 category A indecent images of children, another of creating a number of category B images and one of creating seven category C images. He also denies a single charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image.

Mr Cunningham, 48, of Meyer Close, spoke only to confirm his name and to enter his pleas.

He will face a four-day trial at Taunton Crown Court in spring next year.
