FREE bus travel is being offered on Saturday (February 28) for volunteers who want to help clean bus stops on the A38 between Wellington and Taunton.
The community clean-up event is organised by Taunton campaigner Jacob Bell and runs from 10 am to 3 pm, starting from the bus stop outside Somerset College, Taunton.
The volunteers will clean the shelters and also pick up litter from the area around them to help make bus travel more appealing and reduce roadside rubbish.
They will make their way along the A38 back to Wellington, stopping for lunch in Sheppy’s Cider Farm on the way.
Mr Bell said: “All welcome, please bring gloves, litter pickers, and any cleaning supplies available if you have them, contact 07449 520100 for more information.”
