A MAN was airlifted to hospital last week following a crash near Wellington.

Emergency services were called out last Monday at about 6pm after the incident was reported on Rectory Road in Ashbrittle.

The male involved in the single-vehicle crash was flown to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth by air ambulance with a chest injury.
