CHELSTON Park Nursing & Residential Home’s first dog show proved a great success.

Kathleen Heath, one of the residents leading the initiative, and staff and volunteers, were thrilled to see so many people venture out with their four-legged friends in tow.

Staff were on hand to support all the guests and residents in enjoying the grounds, barbecue and cakes ­ – and to help everyone with ensuring their dogs were looking their best and ready to show.

Some £300 was raised for the residents’ fund and a further £100 for Wellington Scout Group.
