The first Duke of Wellington’s birthday on May 1 will be commemorated with a guided walk led by Colin Spackman from Wellington Museum.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear some history as well as have a stroll. Walkers will leave North Street car park at 2pm – it will probably take about three hours to walk ther and back.

Participants should take refreshments and wear sturdy shoes. It should be noted some parts of the walk are very steep. Dogs are welcome.
