MOTHER and daughter Jo and Kezia Kimber, of The Paddocks, Wellington, have had their long locks cut for a good cause.
Kezia, five, saw a video just over a year ago on the Little Princess Trust’s website about children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or for other reasons and need real hair wigs.
Kezia wanted to grow her hair and have it cut for the charity – and asked her mum to encourage her by growing her hair too.
Mother and daughter set up a Just Giving page with a target of £100, which was achieved, and had their hair cut at Expressions in Wellington by stylist Kala-Rae Adams.
Jo, 40, said: “We were both very nervous but very pleased with the result and the fact that our hair will help someone, somewhere.”
