THE BudVue Cinema at Langford Budville village hall is going from strength to strength with more top films being screened until the end of the year.

Future showings include The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society, On Chesil Beach, The Bookshop and The Leisure Seeker.

BudVue started at the beginning of the year and film nights are generally held once a month on a Saturday.

Past showings have included Churchill, Victoria & Abdul, Murder on the Orient Express, Paddington 2, The Greatest Showman, Three Billboards.., The Shape of Water and The Darkest Hour.

Entry is £5, paid on the night at the door, and doors open at 7pm. Children’s matinees are also occasionally screened when entry is £2.50.

Everyone is welcome as the aim is to provide a good community experience without the need to make a profit. Any excess income is ploughed back into BudVue to further improve the experience.

Facilities are excellent with good level access and room for wheelchairs in the front row.

BudVue has a licensed bar but in addition tea, coffee, cakes and ice-cream, and other snacks are available.
