'ELLO 'ELLO: Wellington's latest police chief, Sgt Helen Boyd, has got the backing of MP Jeremy Browne, who went along to the town's police station this week to find out how she was settling in.

He said: "Wellington police cover a wide area, including not only the town but also Milverton, Wiveliscombe and Bishops Lydeard. "The residents of all these areas value the importance of a police presence and Sgt Boyd is committed to maintaining this and developing her team.

"I give her my support in this new and challenging role."
