GROUPS in Wellington in need of volunteers are being urged to get in touch with Engage, which has been running a Volunteer Centre in Wellington Library in recent months after trial sessions earlier in the year.

It has received steady interest from members of the public who would like to volunteer and it would like to have more opportunities to offer them.

Engage supports organisations in the Taunton Deane area at no cost and as well as volunteer recruitment can help with other things like advice on governance, setting up as a charity and funding advice.

Sandra Marsden, from Engage, said: “I am happy to come and meet you or feel free to pop in to Wellington Library during one of the Volunteer Centre sessions on Wednesdays October 19, November 23 or December 14 between 1-4pm.”
