ENTHUSIASTIC workers with wool are getting together with an experienced spinner and several spinning wheels in a new spinning and woolcraft group at Appley.

Anyone interested is invited to go along and have a go at making their own yarn – plenty of fleece is available. People can also take along that unfinished knitting, crochet or even needlework project and have a chat and refreshments.

The group meets at the Cruck Barn, on the fourth Tuesday of the month at about 2.30pm. The next meetings are on September 26 and October 24.
