WELLINGTON Local History & Museum Society has published another book in the Our Boys series which records the biographies of local casualties in the two world wars.

In the latest volume, Mike Perry has researched the names on the Kentisbeare, Blackborough and Bradfield memorials. The new book is available, price £4, from H T Perry’s hardware shop and Wellington Museum, both in Fore Street.

Copies are still available of the other six volumes in the Our Boys series covering the names on the Wellington memorial – in two parts – local casualties not on the Wellington memorial and three volumes for the villages around Wellington.

All proceeds from the sale of these books goes to help Wellington Local History & Museum Society publish books and leaflets which promote the town’s heritage and history.
