Student leadership positions at Court Fields School in Wellington have been filled for the academic year 2021-22.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We are proud to announce our senior prefects are Madi B and Sean C. Deputy senior prefects include Halle W-A, Susan M, Lewis C and Nikko B.

“The competition was wonderful, with all six candidates being very difficult to separate at the interview stage. The quality of the responses offered and discussions generated was reported to the staff body as one of the finest fields ever experienced at the school.”

Many of the student prefects asked for and were allocated roles in raising awareness and developing the profile of key issues for the student body including Enrichment and Sport, Equality and Diversity, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Special Educational Needs, Literacy, Charity and Publicity, Transition, and leading the Student Councils.

Some of the prefects nominated faculties and year groups to work with for mentoring, administering the competitions and the running of extra curricular activities.
