WELLINGTON Operatic Society will soon start rehearsals for an exciting new show devised by John Walker called Back2BackBacharach.

In keeping with the usual format of the group’s autumn shows at the arts centre, drama and dance will enhance familiar and greatly loved songs including hits such as ‘Do You Know the Way to San Jose’, ‘Don’t Make Me Over’, ‘Walk On By’, ‘What’s New Pussycat’ and ‘Magic Moments’.

The show will run from Tuesday, November 5, to Saturday, November 9, at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. The Saturday evening performance is a special cabaret night, with a drink and nibbles included in the ticket price.

The launch night for rehearsals is Thursday, September 5, at 7.30pm at the arts centre.
