NYNEHEAD Court’s first NGS Open Gardens event of 2018 took place on Sunday, February 18 and raised more than £400.

Almost 60 people attended, and were treated to a tour of the gardens conducted by head gardener Justin Cole. A grand total of £412.85 was raised through admission charges and the sale of refreshments and plants.

Home manager Angela Watkins said: “We are absolutely delighted at the number of people who attended our Open Gardens and hope that they will visit us again for our next one on July 1.

“We also have charity Big Breakfasts on March 3 and April 7, and our Midsummer Music event on June 23.”
