HANNAH Sleet, of Meyer Close on the Cades Farm estate in Wellington, called the WWN to say she recognised some of he faces in the old photograph we published on page 6 of last week’s paper.

Hannah said the event was a street party held in Quantock Road, Wellington, to celebrate the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in July 1981.

Hannah, who was nine at the time and sent in her own photo of the party (above), recognised many of the people in the picture, among them her sister Katrina Sleet, niece Hayley Thorne and mum Anne Sleet, as well as several Beech Grove Primary School youngsters.
