THE One Team, which runs in Wellington, has been highly commended in the Municipal Journal’s local government awards.

The initiative, which was launched in Halcon in Taunton and has now been adopted across Somerset, was honoured for ‘delivering better outcomes’.

The One Team involves partners working to cut crime, domestic violence and housing evictions, and to improve families’ engagement with children’s centre services.
