A WOMAN who spent much of her early working life in Wellington has died of cancer at the age of 66.
Anne Marke moved to live in Ireland with her Wellington-born husband Dennis 30 years ago, having worked at Wellington Sports Centre, Aerosols and Piccadily House.
She was diagnosed with cancer in October of last year and died on Sunday, March 16, surrounded by her family.
She and Dennis (pictured right) had two children, Michelle and Andrew, and lived in Brendon Road, Wellington, for 14 years, before moving to Dublin.
Dennis went to Court Fields School in Wellington, and worked as a local postman for many years.
The couple had four grandchildren.
