MEMBERS of Wellington Bowling Club got together in the clubhouse for an entertaining night with singer and comedian Chris Chaplin.

All those who came enjoyed his excellent singing and humour before tucking into a superb meal provided by social secretaries Brenda Manning and Theresa Hawkins, who not only organised the event but also prepared the supper.

Brenda was pleased that everyone enjoyed the evening and thanked all those who helped, particularly Sue and Nick Channon who did an exemplary job once again by taking charge of all the washing and clearing up afterwards.

Brenda and Theresa are looking forward to the next exciting event at the club when Cleverly Everly will sing on St George’s Day (April 17).
