WELLINGTON Carnival says a life-sized Peppa Pig and her brother George will be attending Carnival Street Fair next month.
Paw Patrol characters entertained the children last year and a large queue of youngsters formed to have photos taken with them. Secretary Louise Brierley said: “Hopefully, Peppa Pig and George will also be popular.”
Louise added: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the local groups and entertainers who will be performing throughout the day – we have a full programme of entertainment arranged throughout the day in the High Street and South Street, as well as an open-mic stage outside Rule 7.
“It is also rumoured that Elvis might be making a return visit to Wellington. A full schedule of entertainment will be published in the WWN in the week leading up to the event.”
