A DECISION is expected soon on the site of a controversial play area in Wellington.
Taunton Deane Borough Council, and Barnardo's, staged a public consultation event at Howard Road on Friday, November 21 to discuss the plans to place a new play area at either Howard Road or Roly Poly Green.
Families in the town were given until Friday to decide where they wanted the £45,000 scheme.
A decision is expected soon as the work has to be completed by the end of March next year.
The event was attended by officers from the council, representatives from Barnardo's and committee members from the Wellington Tenants and Residents Association and the area's two district councillors, Andrew Govier and Gloria Copley.
