POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of a Burlescombe man who is missing.

Robin Prescott, 49, has not been seen since 6am on Thursday, December 13 when he left home in to travel to work in Wellington.

A man matching Robin's description was seen getting on the 7.38am train from Taunton to Penzance on that Thursday morning.

Police found his car abandoned at Taunton railway station.

Robin is described as 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, with collar length grey to light brown hair, and a moustache.

He was last seen wearing black trousers with a distinctive white and black chequered quilted shirt/jacket, and he was carrying a small white bag.
